Geek Tip: I gotta admit, this pack is my best friend (don't tell my wife!). This pack weighs 3 lbs......did you hear me....3lbs. For me it combines the right size with the right features. It should be noted that you do give up some of the extra pockets for the light weight. But, it's worth it to me. Also, if you are going to regularly carry over 30-35 lbs, I would go with a full featured highly supported pack like the Baltoro 70.
