We bought this tent used and took it for a 3 day 2 night trip in the Rockies. The fabric is super thin but durable, however the footprint is a necessity to save the tent floor from damage. The setup is simple so long as you pay attention to the color coded clips and tent poles. Another feature we enjoyed was that the doors & floor are designed to block wind that slips under the rainfly. We had a steady icy breeze that we could feel traveling over us and through the tent (rainfly open half way on each side) but not on us. The zippers on the door and rainfly were a little sticky and you have to be careful not to catch the rainfly cover in them. Note that the large removable mesh gear rack which extends the length of the tent and hangs from the roof is an additional purchase. However there are pockets (one large with headphone holes and 2 small personal) that we used and found to be adequate for holding our minimal amount of backpacking gear. Overall this tent met our expectations. check out the 2020 version of this tent for some outstanding features.
