I’m pretty sure Yellowstone embodies all things west that are beautiful. It’s big, it’s wild, and it’s spectacular. But really, who can capture Yellowstone with words. We all must experience it. Yellowstone is not just an idea….it’s out there and you can be there too with our Yellowstone Camping Rental Package!
Yellowstone has a very regimented camping system with a tent “pad” that fits an 8′ x 8″ tent. All of our packages include a tent that will fit on this tent pad. This tent will allow for extra room with two people.

The camping gear was clean and appropriate for the weather we had in Yellowstone. Had some snow a couple of nights and we were warm in our tent and sleeping bags. The carrier for some of the equipment got messed up and the staff at outdoor geeks worked to make sure we had what we needed by the time we needed it. They were very helpful and pleasant throughout. Returning the equipment was easy. We would definitely use this company again and have already recommended it to many of our friends.

We were a little nervous since we were flying in from out of town and didn’t know anything about Outdoors Geek, but the equipment for the trip worked out great! Pick up and returns were easy, and the price of the rental package was maybe half what we would have paid at REI. We ended up renting the additional bear barrel but didn’t end up needing it as the campground at Yellowstone had bear boxes installed. If we camp again in the area we will definitely rent from Outdoors Geek!

We went on a five day camping trip in Yellowstone and were very pleased with the customer service provided by Outdoors Geek. I would highly recommend. The only reason I would give it 5 stars is that it was unclear what utensils/cooking gear would be provided. Only one small pot and two bowls came with our package with no utensils. We had to purchase plates and another bowl as well as utensils.

I thought this was great the way they do it. We were on a road trip and then flying so we didn’t want to lug around camping equipment. Outdoors geek made it so easy with shipping it right to one of our stops and we dropped it right off at a UPS store and shipped it right back. This was the perfect thing for us. And the equipment was clean and looked new.

We enjoyed our Yellowstone package. It was in the 30’s at night (in June?!) but the sleeping bags kept us toasty warm. We were also grateful for the camp stove that was so easy to use. The equipment was waiting for us at our first stop and it was SO easy to return it by dropping it at the UPS store – the shipping label was already printed. * Pro tip: take pictures of the box as you unpack it so you can re-pack it in the same order. A lot goes into one box!

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic experience using OutdoorsGeek for our trip to Yellowstone. The weather dropped into the 30’s every night as we were out for late season, but the high quality gear meant that we were always warm and cozy. We had to return the gear a day later than anticipated due to holiday shipping and a quick call to the company (and a real person) meant that it was no issue at all. I’m not much of a review writer, but I felt the need to share my thoughts since this whole thing worked out so well for us.

The Yellowstone package was absolutely perfect for our camping trip to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. There were 4 of us (all adults) so for a little extra space we upgraded to the 6 person tent and we were happy we did. First of all, the package arrived early! It was so nice to know that our stuff was waiting for us. Everything we received was in great condition. The sleeping bags smelled clean and were comfortable for the chilly nights. The sleeping pads were great and easy to use. What was provided for the camp kitchen worked out great and the only thing we ended needing to buy were some utensils. Before our flight home, we packed everything back into the correct boxes. It was really helpful that Outdoors Geek wrote what belonged in each box, but we also took pictures before unpacking to make it easier to pack neatly. The boxes came with prepaid shipping labels and the UPS store was able to tape them up securing. Overall, we were incredibly happy with Outdoors Geek and this rental package. We highly recommend it to anyone.
One last thing, we originally booked this trip for 2020 and when we had to cancel due to COVID, Outdoors Geek refunded my credit card within days. The customer service was excellent which is why we chose to just rebook with them for 2021.
