Bear Cans & Cases Rental

Our bear canister rental program has exploded in popularity over the last few years. Therefore, we have continued to grow our stock by adding more to our rental program. Most noteworthy, many National Parks have made bear canisters mandatory. And especially in the western United States, it makes a lot of sense because there are few suitable trees for hanging food.

Ultimately, bear canisters protect humans and bears. They protect bears because they have much less contact with human food. And when bears are not conditioned to look for people food, their instincts make them fearful of campers.

We also rent inexpensive bear canister carrying cases. These cases weigh mere ounces and allow for backpackers to lash bear cans to the outside of their pack.
