All have electric hook ups, and many also have water, and sewer hook up too. Chatfield state park offers more than just views though; hike, bike, fish, or even take a hot air balloon ride. There is plenty to keep you busy! A series of wildlife filled trails winds throughout Chatfield. Whether your walking, jogging, or even horseback riding there is a trail that’s just right for you. With 26 miles of trails you are sure to find an adventure waiting!

The diverse ecological system of chatfield provides visitors with a unique experience of plant and wildlife. The rolling hills, prairie grasses, ponds and wetlands offer the most diverse example of Colorado’s wildlife almost anywhere. In the fall you can expect to see Elk, white tail deer, cotton tail habits, red fox and bear!
