Our virtual journy leads us to Acadia National Park, Maine. It is the first national park east of the Mississippi River and offers hiking, biking, camping, great views of rugged coastlines, and clear lakes.

I found myself in the Bay area once not all that long ago and saw a neat looking state park off to the south. The park has a little bit of everything – very nice views, Redwoods, rugged coastline, meadows, and even a historical museum.
